FixGram

Terms of Use

Last updated: October 31, 2026

These terms apply to the FixGram app and its social features (profile, posts, follows, messages). By using the app you agree to them. When you create an account, you accept these terms and the community rules by ticking the box at sign-up.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

FixGram has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post or send:

  • nudity or sexual content;
  • violence, gore, weapons or dangerous acts;
  • hate, discrimination, extremist symbols, harassment, threats or humiliation;
  • spam, advertising, links or contact details;
  • personal documents, other people’s data, or photos of people without their consent;
  • anything illegal or that infringes the rights of others.

Breaking these rules leads to removal of the content and a permanent ban of the profile, without warning. Serious violations may be reported to the authorities.

What you can post

Food, recipes and your own photos (sport, progress, moments) that you took or have the right to use, with respectful captions: no nudity, violence, hate or personal documents. Direct messages must be respectful too: no harassment, threats, spam, ads or unwanted sexual content; someone you don’t follow can send you only one message request, which you can accept, delete, report or block. Comments must be respectful: no insults, harassment, hate, sexual content, threats, links or contact details. Your display name and username must not be offensive, impersonate another person or the FixGram team, or contain links or contact details.

How we moderate

  • Photos appear right away. Anyone who sees a photo can report it if it is inappropriate; a person reviews the report within 24 hours and removes the photo if it breaks the rules.
  • Names and texts pass through a filter for offensive words, links and contact details.
  • You can report any post, comment or person, and the author of a post can delete any comment on it. A post reported by several people is hidden immediately until it is reviewed.
  • We review reports within 24 hours: we remove content that breaks the rules and ban the profile that posted it.
  • You can block any friend, follower or anyone who sent you a friend or follow request: a blocked person no longer sees your day or posts, and you no longer see theirs.
  • You can also report and block any public profile, your followers and the profiles you follow. Blocking deletes the follows in both directions.

Your profile

  • Your profile is tied to your phone (a key kept in its Keychain) or, if you create an account, to an email and password, Apple or Google; you can have one profile per phone.
  • You are responsible for everything you post.
  • Do not try to get around limits, moderation or blocks, and do not use the FixGram server outside the app.
  • You can delete your profile at any time in the app (Privacy Policy).

Public profile and followers

  • Your profile is private by default. You can make it public only if you have a username and confirm that you are at least 16; by confirming, you declare that this is true.
  • A public profile and its approved posts (including foods and calories, if you show them) can be seen, followed and commented on by any user of the app, without your approval. Your name, username, avatar and number of posts also appear on the profile’s web page, which anyone can open. Details in the Privacy Policy.
  • You can remove or block a follower at any time and make your profile private again; your followers then see nothing until you make it public again.
  • All the rules above (content, reports, review within 24 hours, bans) also apply to public profiles, their posts and comments. A banned public profile disappears for everyone, and its follows are deleted.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You give us a limited, free and revocable permission to store it and show it to your friends and, if your profile is public, to other users while it is posted (until you delete it or your profile, or moderation removes it). The permission ends when you delete the post or your profile.

Not medical advice

Calories and nutrients are estimated by AI and may be wrong. FixGram is not a medical device and does not replace advice from a doctor or dietitian. Talk to a professional before changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or have had an eating disorder. The friends challenge rewards getting close to your own goal, not eating as little as possible.

Availability and liability

The app is provided “as is”, as a test version; some features may change or be temporarily unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses caused by using the app or by content posted by other users.

Apple

These terms supplement Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide support for it.

Termination and changes

We may suspend or end access to the social features if these terms are broken. If we change the terms, we update the date at the top and, for important changes, ask for your agreement again in the app.

Governing law and contact

The laws of the Republic of Moldova apply, without limiting the consumer rights you have in the country where you live. Contact: support@fixgram.app.
